The electric robot AgAr will be available starting in April, as recently announced by the company Coming Computer Engineering. This robot, which we have previously written about, will handle heavy tasks on smaller farms that require a lot of labor, as the commercial version of the robot is in the final stages.

The Pragmatism of the AgAR Robot

Nikola Velčev, AgAR Project Team Leader, emphasized that what sets AgAR apart from all currently available robots on the market is the ability to change the clearance, or adjust the height of the platform from the ground.

The advantages of this adjustment are numerous. AgAR can quickly change its clearance from 220 to 810 mm, adapting to different agricultural crops. This change in clearance enhances the robot's stability, prevents tipping during load transport, and allows it to navigate uneven terrain, as well as perform activities on slopes greater than 40 degrees. In addition to stability, the adjustable clearance enables the use of traditional attachment machines without the need for hydraulics. By automatically raising and lowering the entire platform, an optimal working position is maintained
