Revolution in Agriculture With the Autonomous Robot AgAR
23. October 2024.The Vineyard Robot Amazed the Attendees

In the vineyards of Jović Winery, testing of AgAR, the autonomous universal robotic platform created by local talent and experts, was conducted throughout October. On October 27, a successful demonstration of its capabilities was held in front of over 40 attendees, including winemakers from Negotin, Knjaževac, the Šapat Winery, as well as scientists, representatives from ministries, and media.
AgAR performed exceptionally well, handling tasks from land preparation and protection to grape harvesting, both during the day and at night.
The robot has proven capable of tackling difficult and steep terrains; it is stable, and the distance of the platform from the ground is adjustable. The wheels can be repositioned, allowing for easy adaptation to various working conditions and agricultural crops. Completely electric, it has a work autonomy of eight to twelve hours on a single battery, depending on the task.
The quick and easy battery replacement facilitates operation in multiple shifts, while the technologies it employs for movement include LiDAR, radar, stereo cameras, and GPS coordinates, enabling seamless operation in all weather conditions.
