Niš – Young experts from the University of Niš and the private sector, who have already turned innovations and ideas into reality, are connecting the economy and science with the future. Specialists from the development centers of the company "Coming" and students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Niš, after creating a robot for herding sheep – the "Robo-shepherd," have also begun developing a universal robot for all-day work in agriculture. The robot "Agar" will be able to replace human labor in plowing fields and performing other necessary land preparation tasks for planting agricultural crops, as well as for irrigating fields, spraying, and, of course, harvesting fruits. More than 30 specialists from the "Coming" company and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Niš are involved in the development of the "Agar" robot, which is also partially funded by the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia.
