The first Serbian robot for mowing grass was developed in Niš, making this task significantly easier. The robotic platform "AgAR" was created at the Science and Technology Park in Niš, through a collaboration between the Coming Computer Engineering and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Niš.
The robot’s operation was demonstrated for the first time while mowing the field in front of the Science and Technology Park, to test its performance and identify any potential issues.
“For the first demonstration, we chose the most challenging scenario, as this type of attachment is the most difficult to operate. If everything goes smoothly, the entire range of attachment machines from ‘Agromechanika’ or similar manufacturers can be integrated into this platform,”
